Website privacy notice
Updated 27 October 2026. It covers this website, vocando.ai. The Vocando app isn't open yet: it will have its own privacy notice when it opens.
Who handles your data
The data controller is the operator of the Vocando project (the "Controller"), who can be contacted at privacy@vocando.ai. No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as Article 37 GDPR does not require one.
What we collect
- No cookies, no analytics, no forms. The site doesn't ask you for any data.
- Technical logs. When you open a page, the provider hosting the site records technical details of the request, such as IP address, date and time, page and browser. They keep the site running and protect it from abuse, and the provider keeps them for a short time, under its own rules.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply. We keep them as long as we need to reply, and no longer than 12 months.
- If you run a restaurant and ask us to stop calling, we keep the restaurant's number on an exclusion list, with no expiry: that's what stops the calls.
Why, and on what basis
Running and protecting the site, replying to people who write to us and honouring requests not to be called are our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We don't use the data for advertising and we don't sell it.
Who receives it
The provider hosting the site (Vercel Inc., which may also process data in the United States, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses) and our email provider. No one else.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict its use or object to it by writing to privacy@vocando.ai. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
